Year: 1990 Country: Australia Notes: Thrash Metal band from Brisbane, Australia. They only released to two demotapes, one in 198x and then this in 1990. The band gives you OK Thrash, but for me a bit too much mid-tempo stuff to really take off. But as always, that's a matter of taste.

Genre: Progressive Thrash Metal Year: 1995 Country: Russia Who would like this?: As with a lot of 1990's Russian stuff, you get a mix of styles. Here we have everything from old Testament "The Legacy" style, to Progressive Thrash to European style Power Metal. For some f**kin reason they made a cover of Abba's"S.O.S" that I could have done without. Notes: Thrash Metal band from Moscow, Russia who relocated to Covington, Georgia, U.S. They were active between 1986-2004 and then reunited in 2023. This is the band debut who was only released on Tape and CD in 1995.

Dissection, Satyricon and Gorgoroth toured together in Europe during 1996. The best part about this tour was the particular era it happened in these bands careers, hot on the heels of legendary albums like “Storm of the Light’s Bane”, “Nemesis Divina” and “Antichrist”. / Courtesy of Arcane Archivist
