THE FIRST TIME IRON MAIDEN APPEARED IN THE CHARTS

Iron Maiden first appeared in the SOUNDS Heavy Metal chart on 17th February 1979. The Prowler demo from The Soundhouse Tapes entered the chart at no.20. The chart was by Neal Kay from the Bandwagon Soundhouse, of course.
