Professional recorded live on December 12, 1982 at the
Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee, US on their ”Screaming for Vengeance Tour”. This was first released on VHS and Laserdisc in 1983 titled ”Judas Priest Live” (don't confuse it with the Priest...Live! VHS). The Japanese laserdisc omitted "Diamonds And Rust" and "The Green Manalishi (With the Two Pronged Crown)", giving it a running-time of 84 minutes.

The US version of the VHS release.

The concert was released for the first time on DVD in 2006 as part of the ”Metalogy” boxset, the first-ever Judas Priest box set that was assembled with the full participation of the band and it covers music recorded worldwide for the Gull, Sony Music/Columbia, CMC International, SPV, Atlantic and JVC labels between 1974 and 2002. Remastered hits, fan favorites, live rarities, B-sides and a previously unreleased demo are included, and as a bonus, the initial pressing of "Metalogy” included this live DVD of the complete concert. The DVD was mastered in 5.1 Surround Sound.

In 2006 it was re-released on DVD in 2006 as "Live Vengeance ’82”, and then re-released in 2009 as part of the label's "Visual Milestones” series.

OPINION: This for me is the ultimate filmed concert. It's ”you can only chose 1 concert to take with you to a desert island for the rest of your life” good. It simply doesn’t get better than this. Perfectly filmed and cut. No flashing 100 angles each second or crap like that. The set-list is perfect, they look and sound awesome. If aliens came down to earth wondering what this Heavy Metal thing was, then this is what we would show them. It doesn’t get more Metal than this. Pure PERFECTION. Now labels out there, please remaster this again and give us a 4K/UHD or at least a blu-ray version. Thank you!

The European version on VHS and DVD.
