MACABRE - SHIT LIST [DEMO TAPE] 1987

GENRE: Death Metal/Thrash Metal/Grindcore
COUNTRY: US
YEAR: 1987
STAND-OUT TRACK(S):
What the Heck Richard Speck (Eight Nurses You Wrecked)

Macabre formed in Chicago 1985. The band has featured the same three members with no lineup changes for their entire career. The group's style blends Thrash Metal, Death Metal and Grindcore (sometimes with nursery rhymes and folk melodies). Lyrically, Macabre has a strong focus on serial killers, mass murderers with a humorous touch. The group is currently signed to Nuclear Blast.

The demo was released in 1987 in xeroxed four-panel cover with lyrics to "Ratman" & generic cassette with small a-side label. Some copies have three additional tracks that were added manually by the band with handwritten title additions. They are taken from 1989 demo sessions:

Band Members:
Nefarious (Charles Lescewicz) – bass, vocals
Dennis the Menace (Dennis Ritchie) – drums
Corporate Death (Lance Lencioni) – guitar, vocals
OPINION: Not much to say here, it’s Macabre were it all started, and it’s great, just listen and enjoy. I actually prefer this one to their debut album ”Gloom” (1989). But my absolute favorite with the band is the ”Dahmer” album (2000).
