In 1982 Yngwie Malmsteen performed at the Heavy Metal Gala 1982 in Upplands Väsby, 30 minutes outside Stockholm and hometown to Candlemass, Europe, Universe etc.
Fortunately for us die-hard archivist, there is a video recording from that evening. The quality is not for the mainstream audience so beware.
According to the YouTube uploader he says: Bassist Marcel Jacob joins him. Yngwie had been tuning his guitars for 45 min and the crowd was getting restless. That´s why the singer says "Äntligen!” (”At Last”) at the start of the gig.

Notice that the band Triologi from Märsta has a drummer named Håkan Haugland, that would soon become the drummer in Europe under the name Ian Haugland.
