"To add to the tormented pop star's everyday life, there is also having to carry around a lot of gold discs. They got one in Yugoslavia the other day, and one in Copenhagen and in Gothenburg  today they got two more. Earlier the group have got five Swedish gold discs! The album they are about to record after this tour and bass player Glen Hughes’ David Bowie produced solo album will probably go the same way. Don’t they get tired of all the glamour? 'If I said I was tired of all these ceremonies I would insult all musicians who haven’t experienced it - and I have been there', says Coverdale, who two years ago worked as a store assistant. Now he is a star in "the loudest pop group on earth". How does that feel? 'Like a dream! And sometimes I lose touch with reality...'" Lennart Persson/Arbetet (Swedish Newspaper).
