This was taken during one of the band's most intense periods. Carsten had stepped in for Hanjo, who was drafted into the army at the end of 1985. After the band was banned, Carsten immediately applied to leave the country because he saw no future for himself in East Germany. Of course, they kept him waiting, and he had to take odd jobs that didn't match his qualifications. That's how it was back then with dissidents. They finally let him go in 1989.
