Whiskey 1981. I think it was their 2nd Show that I first saw them at the Troubadour. They were playing 9pm and 11pm but Tommy broke his main kick drum head so they stopped. He had MOTLEY and CRUE on the front heads. So, he used one of those for the 11pm show then started doing these different front heads. Saw the Crue SO many times and was stoked for the band to get that US Festival gig in 1983. It really introduced them to everyone outside of Hollywood. / Peter Thomas Kearney
