Heavy/Thrash Metal band TRYLIKA was born on February 13, 1988 in Kaunas, Lithuania (then Soviet Union). The band began its activities in Kaunas Freda Culture House. Its members were vocalist a.a. Artūras Gumbrevičius-Ačkozauras, guitarist Arijus Skorupskis, who later took up the bass guitar. At first, Viktoras Andrejevas-Bambino played drums, who was later replaced by Vladimiras Lavrentjevas, Vytautas Inokaitis played lead guitar, who was replaced by Anatolyjus Rozumas, and Marius Klusas played bass. The band "belonged" to the Kaunas Rock Club, and in 1988 they became winners of such festivals as "Elektrinė gitara", "Žemaitijos taurė", "Aukštaitijos taurė", "Papūga", and "Hard Express". In 1989, the band's performance was broadcast by VFR television. They had one release, a demo tape in 1988.
Musically, Trylika channels the raw spirit of early demo-era Root (complete with bizarre corpse paint), the rough energy of early Tudor and Drakar, yet leans toward a more upbeat heavy metal sound rather than pure evil thrash.
The band stated that their music was influenced by METALLICA, CORONER, MOTÖRHEAD, PINK FLOYD, ANTHRAX, VENOM, JUDAS PRIEST. The group did not last long - until the end of 1989, but the audience remembered them for its energetic shows and impressive music.
