On February 22, 1981, Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, and Tommy Lee attended a show at The Starwood to check out the lead singer of a local band called ROCKANDI. Impressed with what they saw, they approached him after the show and asked if he'd be interested in joining their band. That lead singer happened to be none other than Vince Neil. After a few short months of rehearsals, Mötley Crüe made their live debut on the same stage at The Starwood on April 24, 1981. This is where it all began!
