July 12, 1980: The formation of Blizzard Of Ozz was formally announced. Their debut studio album had already been completed in April 1980. Yet, when the album was released (September 20th) Sharon Arden had taken control of the management, and it "mysteriously" was released as Ozzy Osbourne's debut solo album.
