ROMMEL [ロンメル] (JPN)

Really good band from Tokyo, Japan that was active between 1987-1990. Although with a juvenile image, and NO, they were not nazis, just one among several other Japanese speed/thrash metal bands like Mein Kampf and Rosenfeld that had a tasteless ”nazi-image”. They only used the imagery for shock value. Hisashi Takai was actually called "Shu" in the period he played with Rommel. He doesn't even talk about the band nowadays because he's ashamed with just that, their image.

If you can look past that, there really is some killer Speed/Thrash Metal on the 3 demo tapes they released.
