During the band's first decade, they established themselves in the Mexican underground metal scene, gaining popularity for their dark and heavy style. In 1997, they released their debut album, "The Kinglike Celebration (Final Aeon on Earth)," under the Oz Productions label. This album was a success within the extreme metal scene and helped solidify their reputation within the scene. That same year, the band disbanded. It wasn't until 2011 that Shub Niggurath made their comeback with the album "A Deadly Call from the Stars," released by Lux Inframundis Productions. This work marked a transition from classic death metal to a blend of death and black metal, consolidating their position as one of the most important bands of the genre in Mexico.
