W.A.S.P. ”LIVE AT THE LYCEUM, LONDON, UK” (SEPTEMBER 24, 1984) 2K REMASTERED

I still remember when this came out on VHS in 1984, and how bad I wanted it and how much my mother refused to order it. Yes, I still hold a grudge for that! I would have traded a less interesting family member for a copy it. I don’t remember when I finally had the chance to see it, but it was probably 5-6 years later.

This was recorded at the start of the 'Winged Assassins' tour that went from September '84 to March '85. W.A.S.P. performed in UK/Ireland between 18 and 26 of September, before going to Europe, Japan, and then back to America. On 23 October, the day before the (incorrect) date, W.A.S.P. performed in Tokyo, Japan.

The sleeve of this release states it was recorded on Monday 24 October 1984, and is wrong. Actual recording date was 24 September 1984.

W.A.S.P. only played The Lyceum once. The first time they played in London. All later London tour dates was at other venues.

On the Wild Child (The Wild Remix) 12" singles, B-side 'Love Machine' (Also from the Lyceum show) on the UK release, states September 1984. Europe and Japan versions states September 1985.
W.A.S.P. was not in London in 1985.

On the back of the W.A.S.P. - The Last Command remastered CD, that has 5 bonus tracks from this show, 4 of the songs states October '84, and 1 song states September '84. Booklet har more errors.
